This is a small group workshop is based on the work of Ray Castellino, DC (retired), RPP, RCST®. He originally trained a chiropractor, and then was influenced by formative teachers in the field of energy therapy, bodywork and trauma resolution, including Randolph Stone (founder of Polarity Therapy), Peter Levine (founder of Somatic Experiencing), Franklyn Sills (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Pioneer), and William Emerson (pioneer in prenatal and perinatal psychology). His work is also highly informed by his training as a musician and music teacher. Castellino was a master of sensing into the patterns that can arise from difficulties from the prenatal and perinatal period. He developed a training for a specific form where professionals could learn about the many patterns that can be generally associated with historical trauma, conception, prenatally, birth and attachment in the postpartum period. His observations, somatic skills, and passion for healing early overwhelming events in the nervous system of the families he was seeing came about after he started treating babies. Seeing how families' experiences affected the baby, he began to work with small groups to create a therapy that would help the whole family. The training he still offers creates practitioners in this field. This small group workshop is the product of the training and form he developed. It is ideal for creating a safe container and experiential exploring prenatal and perinatal somatic patterns and your own early history, especially finding places where there is coherency, or health in the nervous system. Using your adult presence, the group consciously creates the blueprint in human development, one of flow, connection, and safety. We offer:

- Didactic debriefing for each pattern for integration and understanding

About the Early Period and Small Group Learning: The foundation of the Womb Surround Process Group is that whatever happens for the developing baby inside the mother is influenced by what went on around him or her as well has what organically arises in the womb. These small groups offer an epigenetic form of healing while learning. We now know that an environment around a cell can influence whether or not genes are turned off or on. In a sense, working with positive, slow group energy, the issue at hand can be shifted with this experience. Participants report greater clarity, better health, great insights, and positive connections with others. It is also an opportunity to learn about helpful patterns around many of the issues of being human. Teaching supports understanding our interpersonal neurobiology and how our younger selves made sense of our lives by bringing these patterns to consciousness. It is great for parents as well as other curious adults, and for couples wanting to conceive.
Currently she supports groups of 4 people plus one assistant or another facilitator, so this is a small group.
Current fees: Workshops run 4.5 days, and are $795 if it is just Kate and an assistant, $1100 if there are two facilitators.

- Our ancestral influences
- How we are conceived, and into what time, place or feeling state in our parents
- In utero development, including the events, feelings and emotions of the family around the developing baby
- Birth process
- Postpartum events, especially separations
- Attachment patterns
- Not feeling fully alive
- Difficulty with intimate relationships
- Deep feelings of ambivalence toward life
- Chronic pain or health conditions
- Patterns that often show up that talk therapy can't seem to change
- Feeling held in chronic double binds, or feeling like there is no way out

- $200 to reserve you place in the workshop that is non-refundable
- Tuition is due 1 month before the workshop
- If you cancel before the 1 month deadline, all fund except the $200 are returned
- If you cancel after one month before the workshop, your tuition is not refunded if you can't find a replacement or the workshop leader can't find a replacement
- If the leader cancels the workshop, everything is refunded
- If you are sick, have an emergency, or family member has an emergency, your payment is refunded

Debbie Gregor, RN, MA, LMFT, BCST
Debbie Gregor is a skilled therapist, guide, teacher and facilitator who brings over 35 years’ experience of caring for individuals, families, children, babies and relationships. As a holistic registered nurse, licensed marriage and family therapist, and biodynamic craniosacral therapist, she promotes the health of the entire system – body, mind, emotions and spirit - of each person and each relationship. She specializes in somatic birth psychology, creative expression, and the embodiment of inner spirituality with our everyday world.
She has extensive experience in the prenatal, perinatal and early childhood life stages, completing the Castellino Foundations training in somatic birth psychology and the advanced family practitioner training, assisting trainings, and assisting and facilitating womb surround process workshops.
As a trauma informed therapist, she knows the terrain of some of the most challenging stories. She honors those stories, where they came from, and the wisdom we can gain by being with them in a conscious, loving way. It is her absolute joy to sit with you right where you are, and help you witness, receive, and transform those stories so that you can embody your birthright of love, joy, freedom, and connection – within and without.

Alison Greene-Barton BCST, SEP, Castellino Practitioner, BEBA Facilitator, Approved Womb Surround Facilitator
Alison Greene-Barton is a pre- and perinatal somatic therapist with 32 years of experience supporting families, couples, babies, children, and individuals. She specializes in healing early wounds and trauma, from conception through adulthood. For 14 years, she has worked with families at the BEBA Clinic (a research clinic supporting: Birthing, Enhancing, Bonding and Attachment), in the California BEBA clinics, online, and at the BEBA clinic in Amherst, MA. . She worked closely with Ray Castellino, co-facilitating family sessions, Womb Surround workshops, assisting him in four different trainings, and co-teaching.
Alison is a certified Craniosacral Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Womb Surround Facilitator, Castellino Family Practitioner, Castellino Trainer, and Castellino Supervisor, with additional certifications in Pathwork, Body into Being, Energy Healing, creative movement, and Shamanism. An experienced facilitator of Womb Surround Process Workshops, she has been involved in the Castellino approach for 26 years.
Alison has developed and taught Pathwork spiritual psychology training programs, pre- and perinatal somatic workshops, and parenting classes that incorporate the Castellino approach. She shares this work internationally in Japan, Israel, Brazil, and North America. She currently lives in Amherst, Massachusetts.
